 The Somali  Bantu Community Organization has sports and recreational activity programs like soccer and tranditional choir team.

The aim of these programs are to promote interaction, bond with the other youths in Central New York thorugh collaborating with other youth organization and help the Somali Bantu Youth integrate in to American society.

The Somali Bantu youths has a soccer team called Young Brothers United. The goals for the Young Brothers United is:

 1.To develop professional players, coaches, referees and manager.

 2.To be together to identify our problems and resolve, then to integrate and contribute to the development and growth of local community.

 

Traditional choir team:

The Somali-Bantu Community Center will provide space for the community to gather for weddings, engagement ceremonies, traditional dance presentations, story telling,  funerals and yearly cultural festivals Ramadan and Eidul-Fitr. These activities will take place at the Center.
